The three dot green tritium night sight set’s front sight features a taller blade and an aiming point ringed in photoluminescent paint while the rear sight is outlined in black and features a wider U-shaped notch. I’m guessing that’s not it, since the rear is already right of center, but it’s only a guess. The HD Night Sights from Trijicon were specifically created to address the needs of tactical shooters. If it also shoots left for them, the rear might need to be moved, but it would be drifted right, not left. If that’s the case, work on fundamentals.

It could be spot on for them, or even shoot a bit right if the rear is actually right of center. Try this: Ask your smith or another experienced shooter to try the pistol and see where it impacts. Is is possible the sight might need to be moved, but let’s ensure our form/technique is correct before we move it. By “crushing the gun” I mean squeezing with your whole hand rather than isolating the movement of your index finger. It is very possible you are crushing the gun with your strong hand, thereby moving the muzzle of the pistol to the left before the shot breaks. However, before you move the sight, perhaps a bit more practice, especially if you are new to pistols and Glocks.

In other words, if you need to move point of impact to the right, drift the rear sight to the right, not left. We move the rear sight in the direction we want the impact to move. If your Glock is shooting to the left but your rear sight is right of center, moving it to the center will compound the problem.
